Privacy Policy

How Revival Campaign Ministries collects, uses and protects your information.

Last updated: 22 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Revival Campaign Ministries (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles your information when you use our website and mobile application (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to serve you well:

  • Account details — your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number and gender when you create an account.
  • Profile details — optional information you choose to add, such as date of birth, city, country, address, marital status and occupation.
  • Sign-in credentials — if you use email/password, we store only a securely hashed version of your password (never the password itself). If you use Google or Apple sign-in, we receive your basic profile (name, email) from them.
  • Content you submit — prayer requests, testimonies, care requests, group messages and event registrations.
  • Giving information — when you give, payment is processed by our payment provider (Paystack). We receive a record of the gift (amount, fund, date) but do not store your full card details.
  • Device & usage data — device identifiers, push-notification tokens, app/version and basic interaction data used to deliver notifications and improve the Services.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide and personalise the Services (services, sermons, Bible, groups, events, giving).
  • To offer pastoral care and follow-up when you request prayer or support.
  • To send push notifications and updates you have opted into (you can turn these off at any time in your device settings).
  • To record gifts and issue giving statements.
  • To keep the Services secure and prevent abuse.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Services, and only as needed:

  • Google / Firebase — sign-in, and push-notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
  • Apple — Sign in with Apple.
  • Paystack — secure payment processing for giving.
  • YouTube (Google) — live-stream and video playback is embedded from YouTube.
  • Hosting & infrastructure — providers that store and serve our data securely.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our community.

4. Third-party services

Some features rely on third parties who have their own privacy policies:

5. Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services and meet legal obligations. Passwords are hashed, data is transmitted over encrypted connections, and access is limited to authorised staff.

6. Your choices & rights

  • Access & update — view and edit your profile in the app at any time.
  • Delete — request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
  • Notifications — control push notifications in your device settings.
  • Sign-in methods — you may link or use email/password, Google or Apple.

7. Children's privacy

The Services are intended for general church use. Where a child uses the Services, we expect a parent or guardian to consent to and supervise that use. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will remove it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notifying you in the app.
